The Autoterm Air 2D heating installation kit is suitable for most campervans, as well as for larger touring vehicles with a volume of up to approximately 16 cubic metres, with the proviso that this volume does not include furniture. The idea behind this kit is to use the heater continuously, which means you don't have to turn it off, but can leave it on at a low power level. This way, keeping the room at the right temperature uses much less energy than trying to suddenly heat a cold interior over a short period of time.
We assume that all vehicles using this kit are well insulated. Even for vehicles with uninsulated windows in the driver's cab, the cab can be separated from the rest of the vehicle in winter using a blanket or other insulating material.
This parking heater is designed for continuous operation, which means there is no problem with long-term use. You can leave the house, turn the heater on and leave it on for four weeks when you return and the energy consumption on the lowest setting is only 10 watts, which is less than a parking light in a van.
The kit also includes an altitude kit, which means it can work in the mountains. However, when leaving high altitude areas, it is recommended to run the heater at full power for an hour to burn off deposits. Also, if running the heater on the lowest setting for long periods of time, it is recommended to periodically set it to full power every 1-2 weeks to allow the combustion chamber to warm up. This is an important maintenance activity to maintain the efficiency of the heater.

PU-28: has a 2.8 inch touchscreen display that allows you to easily control and monitor your Autoterm heaters.
In addition, the PU-28 offers a user-friendly interface available in multiple languages including: EN, DE, NL, PL, CZ, FR, FI, SP, IT, RU, JP. This combination makes this solution easy to use and offers a range of advanced features and capabilities. It allows a variety of settings, including a 7-day timer, air or cooling temperature setting, operating time, monitoring of operating parameters.
Comfort Control: New, improved control panel for Autoterm / Planar parking heaters. With three freely adjustable timers for any day of the week, extended heating modes (including thermostat mode), voltage monitoring and many other functions. OLED Control: The digital control panel with OLED display has an integrated temperature sensor (cable length 1.8 m), but an external temperature sensor can also be connected if the control panel is mounted in an unsuitable location (e.g. in a cupboard). Control by means of a fixed power level is also possible. The unit has a timer function.
Simple Control: Simple control panel with dial. Controls the heating by means of power levels. A temperature sensor can be connected, in which case the PU-5 can be used to control the room temperature. Otherwise, the PU-5 controls in power mode.
Mounting plate
A stainless steel mounting plate measuring 150 x 134.2 x (80 mm or 40 mm) makes it easy to install the Autoterm Air 2D heater in the vehicle floor. With a wall depth of 80 mm, the exhaust outlet, air inlet and fuel pump insert can be hidden under the vehicle floor.
T-piece for fuel supply
T-piece made of plastic with dimensions (8 x 8 x 5.3 mm). This tee allows the fuel flow to be branched so that an even distribution of fuel can be ensured throughout the system, if required.
The heater kit also includes a line to draw diesel from the vehicle tank, so that fuel can be drawn directly from the tank.
T-piece for the hot air line
A tee without a control valve with a diameter of 3 x 60 mm is important to ensure efficient and safe heat distribution in the room. The main advantage is that air can flow freely through all three ducts.
Air outlet
The air outlet grille with a diameter of FI 60 mm is the element that is used to discharge air into the room. The angle of the lamellas in the grille is 30 degrees.
Warm air duct
The kit includes a hot-air duct with a diameter of 60 mm and a length of 2 m.
Fuel filter
Ensures that the fuel supplied for heating is always clean. If you use diesel imported from outside Europe or vehicles with rusty tanks, this solution is an essential protection for the fuel pump. It is very important to install the filter, which should be at a slight angle and not in a horizontal position, so that the pump always draws fuel from the filling side of the filter!
