Autoterm Comfort Control - The latest development for Autoterm/Planar parking heaters.
Autoterm Comfort Control includes all the improvements that Autoterm/Planar parking heater customers have come to expect from previous control units.
New control panel - what can it do better?
Even externally, the new control panel for the diesel parking heater is quite different from the previously known OLED control panel PU-27. The design has become more modern, the large buttons have been replaced by a chic multifunction knob with intuitive menu navigation. In addition, the control unit has two more buttons. A back button to the previous screen and a button to start or stop the parking heater without entering the menu to activate or deactivate timers. The Comfort Control takes up less space than its predecessor, the PU-27, despite the greater number of functions and information displayed. At just 82 x 37 x 19 mm, it fits unobtrusively in every corner of the camper. It doesn't matter whether you prefer your device displays to be clearly visible or well hidden: Its dimensions make it small enough not to interfere with the camper's special design.
Menu navigation: now also in German
The language selection of previously available controls was limited to Russian and English. With the Autoterm Comfort Control (ACC for short), the German menu is now programmed for the first time.
Functions - In which heating modes can Comfort Control control the parking heater?
The Autoterm/Planar parking heater can operate in four different heating modes thanks to the new Comfort Control system.
- power mode
- temperature mode
- heating and ventilation mode
- thermostat mode.
Thermostat function
The thermostat function, which keeps the parking heater running until a pre-selected temperature is reached, and then turns off the function. heating and ventilation until the temperature drops by a certain (adjustable) number of degrees, was desired by many. The heating then turns on again automatically.
Heating and ventilation
The unit heats until the pre-selected temperature is exceeded by 1 degree. Then the combustion is turned off and the heating operates in ventilation mode until the temperature drops 5 degrees below the preset temperature. Then the heating process is automatically resumed.
Power mode
A certain heating power is pre-selected, and no matter how high or low the ambient temperature is - the parking heater always operates at exactly this selected power.
Temperature mode
The parking heater maintains the specified temperature range by automatically reducing or increasing the heat output without stopping the heating process in between.
