Plastic fuel line

The fuel line delivers fuel from the tank to the engine. Hoses should have high resistance to elevated temperature, internal pressure, weather conditions, abrasion and vibration. Over time, the line can become mechanically damaged or worn. The fuel line connector can also become loose. As a result, the line becomes leaky and there is a fuel leak, which manifests itself with a distinctive fuel smell and visible leakage marks. The damaged line should be replaced as soon as possible. Leaks cause increased fuel consumption and a decrease in fuel pressure delivered to the engine, resulting in uneven engine operation and even engine immobilization.
